St. Catherine University’s Graduates of Color Dinner - 2013
During my time as an undergraduate student at St. Catherine University, I served as a Member of St. Catherine University’s Multicultural International Programs and Services (MIPS), a program dedicated to providing support and guidance to students of color.
In 2013, I was nominated to be a part of the planning committee for the Graduates of Color Dinner. as well as the opportunity to introduce the graduate students on stage as they accepted their gifts.
I served as a judge for the English and Japanese drama competition held at Changzhou University Xitaihu Lake Campus. Since Chinese students were presenting their skits in a language that was not their first language, they faced a challenging experience. Nevertheless, all the groups did an excellent job.
I had the honor of speaking at the International Symposium on "Digital Transformation and International Reconstruction" sponsored by the Business School of Changzhou University. My presentation focused on highlighting the differences between Chinese and western marketing, specifically in America. In addition, I discussed the increase of social media on a global level and the importance for a business to have a substantial social media presence. There were over a hundred students and teachers from the business department who attended, as well as the vice-president of the university.
