My Writing Journey

ThreeSixty Journalism, Student Reporter (2011-2012)

My journey into journalism began at 17 when I joined a summer writing camp through ThreeSixty Journalism at the University of St. Thomas. Under the guidance of a professional mentor, I learned the fundamentals of journalism, including developing interview questions, conducting interviews, transcribing and writing stories.

By the end of the program, my article was published in the Star Tribune. After completing this camp, ThreeSixty hired me on as a Student Reporter where I continued sharpening my journalism skills and wrote stories that were published in ThreeSixty’s official magazine..
